Where 40 cancer survivors were given away Rs 25 lakhs at the hands of hordes of celebrities. Those celebrities making it to the event were singer Javed Ali, Pooja Mishra, Juhi Parmar, Rohit Verma, Vidha Butt, Shonali Nagrani, Shraddha Sharma, Sidharth Bhardwaj besides prince Manvendra Singh Gohil. music director Nikhil Kamat, Sanjay Dutt who earlier had consented to be the chief guest failed to make it to the event. India’s first transgender ambassador to United Nations, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi was the host of the event. “We have pilot project to come up with a cancer hospital and shelter home,”said D B Chand, chairman of Global Vision.Friday 10 February 2012
