Shiva (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time thief and crook who is crazy about acts of daredevilry. One day, he gets the shock of his life when a young girl turns up and claims him to be her father. After recovering from the stunning blow, he slowly starts to find out the truth behind the claim. It turns out that the girl is the daughter of IPS Police officer Vikram Singh Rathore (also Akshay Kumar). Vikram is the long-lost twin of Shiva. After the two meet, in an excitement shock, Vikram Rathore is confronted by underworld-gangsters who then murder him right infront of Shiva, and therefore Shiva has to fill into Vikram's position in the police force as well as his home, and find out who his murderers' were and why they killed him.Shiva is a small time comman man in love with Priya, a pretty girl whom he met at a wedding he wasn`t invited to. As their love blossoms then enters the six year old Neha into his life with lots of twits, turns and surprises.Neha believes Shiva to be her dad but as Shiva was confused with the entry of the little girl into his life he is also chased by deadly gang of goons who attack often to kill him. Not knowing what is happening around him and in order to save his life and love Shiva stumbles upon a deadly secret.A secret that will take him to a small town in Bihar, a town terrorised by a ruthless politician and mafia he controls, at town whose inhabitants only hope for redemption. Kareena Kapoor plays a cameo role shaking her legs for an item number 'Chinta Chinta' Rowdy Rathore is directed by the Kollywood Choreographer Prabhu Deva. 'Rowdy Rathore' is all set to hit screens on Friday 1st June 2012. 

RENUKADAS BHONDE'S ART SHOW

Pune based artist Renukadas Bhonde held the inauguration of his art show at Artists' Centre Art Gallery recently. Actors Payal Rohatgi, Vaishali Desai, wrestler Sangram Singh, Health Minister Suresh Shetty, painters Prakash Bal Joshi, Vishwa Sahni, Amisha Mehta, Ananya Bannerji, Sameer Gaikwad, and Renukadas Bhonde's sister Triveni Bhonde came in to wish him luck! Renukadas Bhonde's exhibition titled The Other Side of Midnight shows the different moods of Man and Nature. Men come with myriad moods. As does Nature. What we see is not what is often reflected. Artist Renukadas Bhonde dwells on the myriad moods of men and Nature and comes up with his works of art... The show was  on till 27th May 2012.

Poet-painter gets Sohail Khan's support, gives proceeds for charity

‘JAI JAI MAHARASHTRA MAJHA’ REVIEW

‘JAI JAI MAHARASHTRA MAJHA’ is based on the  Orphans in India, who are adopted by Foreigners. The film presents a story of Ashwini Stevenson (Anusha Dandekar), who is adopted by an American, from an orphanage in Pune, when she was just 4 years old. Later, in USA, she grows up to become a world renowned Tennis player. She comes India in her age of 22. When Dileep Rege (Mahesh Manjrekar) wifes Amrita (Mrunal Kulkarni) looks her in a reality show, she claims that Ashwini is her daughter. She reveals her first married  life, when she became mother and leave her baby at Orphans house. Ashwini hates to Amrita. Rajat ( Siddharth Chandekar) and Vishal (Hemant Dhome) become her friend and changed her mind. She goes back america with a ptomise that she will come back soon.
Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza is directed by Gautam Joglekar. The film cast comprising of Mahesh Manjrekar, Mrunal Kulkarni, Siddharth Chandekar, Aditi Govitrikar, Yatin Karyekar, Madhav abhayankar, Swati Chitnis, Vijay Kenkre & Mangal Kenkre. BAASHA MUSIC LAUNCHED

After Robot, the next Rajnikant starrer to hit the marquee is Baashha, the film that Ajay Devgan aspires to remake in Hindi.But the music launch of the original Rajnikant starrer saw quite a star-studded turnout. Rajnikant who could not make it due to some sudden work, sent his wishes to the producer Bhadrakali Ramesh and Narendra Singh of Filmy Box Music along with writer Gopalram. Payal Rohatgi, Sangram Singh, Deveshe Khanduri and  Raja Hasanand others grace the event.

BAASHA RELEASING ON 25TH MAY

BAASHA, directed by Suresh Krishna, a super-duper Tamil hit film has been remade in Bengali under the title Guru, Mithun Chakraborty starrer.  Later Bengali Version was dubbed into Oriya as Raja and now dubbed into Hindi & being released this week as BAASHA, which is the original title of Tamil Film. Music by Deva Cinematography P. S. Prakash, Editing by Ganesh Kumar . The film BAASHA is a action drama film starring Rajinikanth Nagma, and Raghuvaran alongwith Janakaraj, Anand Raj, Shashikumar, Vijayakumar, Charan Raj, Yuvarani, Devan, Sathyapriya & Dhamu. The film enjoyed a highly positive box office response and considered one of Rajinikanth's most commercially successful films. The film's soundtrack, as well, was critically acclaimed. After release the movie created much impact in politics too. The punch dialogues and the mannerisms of Rajini was extremely well received. The film is a revised adaptation of Amitabh Bachchan's Hum. Originally, producer Badrakali Vara Prasad Rao  had bought the remake and dubbing rights to do with Amitabh Bachchan, but the project never took off. Now the film is being dubbed in Hindi in addition to being digitally restored. Music director Deva, who composed for the original score has recorded for the Hindi version. The Hindi version's audio was launched recently, while Rao plans on releasing the newly dubbed version by 25^th May with  the color restoration, DI correction, revamped new intermediate negative, new graphics for the title cards, with digitized stereo sound and the 5.1 channel. The Hindi version music is done by Deva who composed the original music score. The film is also expected re-released in Tamil & Telugu with the digitally converted version.
