Children’s
Film Society of India has produced a 90 minutes Film GATTU, directed by Rajan
Khosa.
The
story of a child Gattu. Who lives with Anees Bhai in a small town. He has a big
dream to fly the kite and defeat a kite ‘Kali’. The blue sky above the town is
dominated by ‘Kali’ with mysterious
origins. He does fail on number of occasions but one fine day, his will finds a
way. He discovers a local school having a roof that renders him some strategic
advantage. Impersonating as a student, he sneaks into the school and must now
pretend to study. The only problem, he can not read and write ! The little
street urchin takes up challenge as when the desire is strong, dreams sren’t
impossible. He defeats Kali and becomes more loving student of the school.
Mohammed
Samad has worked as Samad in this film. His acting is very natural. Naresh
Kumar as Anees bhai has done good job. Joya Akhtar is fair. Rest cast of the
film is okay. Script : Ankur Tiwari, K.D. SAtyam, Dilip Shukla. DoP : Satya Rai

The
chair-person of CFSI Ms. Nandita Das has told on the screening, ‘The film is
releasing on 20th July all over India .’
