Dirty Vidya Balan admitted in hospital

Vidya Balan, who was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on Friday. She has been excessively involved 'The Dirty Picture', scheduled for release on December 2. She has had to travel in and out of Mumbai over the past couple of months, as most of the shooting of film has taken place in Hyderabad. 

The role in the film is her dream role and she is going all out to ensure she gives her best. She has almost been working non- stop over the past few weeks and this seems to have taken its toll," a source said, about Vidya's involvement with the film, that sees her portray the tragic life of eighties sex symbol Silk Smitha. Maintaining day night a tight schedule she became ill .She  is under observation at the Lilavati hospital. She will be discharged early this week but the medical advice to her is complete rest for at least seven days.


 ‘'The Dirty Picture' produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by  Milan Luthria, are confident the film will be ready on time for its December release. She has another film, Sujoy Ghosh's 'Kahaani' , coming up in January, which could also be affected. Her last releases — 'Ishqiya' , 'Paa' and 'No One Killed Jessica' — were back-to-back hits. 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani', her next two films, have garnered ample hype

The film is being Directed by Sanjay Ghosh on his own story  for Producer Neeta Shah. Audio Album “5/12, The musical Count” was recently released at Ajivasan Hall, Juhu, Mumbai by famous ghazal singer Jagjit Singh. Special guests, who attended the occasion were taufiq Qureshi, the famous Tabla Maestro ( son of ustad Allarakha ), Bhavdeep Prasad Jaipurwale, singer Mona Roy, T.V. star and Kathak dancer Prachi Shah.  The music of the album was conceptualized, composed, arranged and compiled by Ravindra Rajbhatt and Rajesh rajbhatt. Smita Thakeray released music of Na Jaane Kabse

Writer, Director & Producer Pammi Somal’s first film Mummy Punjabi is still playing in the theatres, was celebrated the music release of her forthcoming film Na Jaane Kabse.
The magnitude of the evening was proved as the guests were welcomed with dhols and nagadas.
Tthe music of the film was released by Mrs. Smita Thackeray at a suburban restaurant Jaggi’s Punjabi Grill, juhu, Mumbai.

Pammi said she wanted a woman of strength to release the music and she couldn’t think of anybody else but Smita Thackeray, who she really looks up to.

Smita hugged Pammi and said, “I am here for Pammi, a very close friend, who I have known for so many years. She’s one woman who has crossed every obstacle and released her first film and now the second film is up for release. I am extremely happy for her.”

songs and musical duo Jatin – Sameer. One could see the warmth and genuine bond between her and Pammi.
